NICEST THING—KATE NASH
Favorite song ever. It reminds me of every guy I’ve ever liked. Lyrics are such a big deal to me and these speak volumes. Sometimes you feel like a song just gets you, and that’s how I feel about this bad boy.
They used to play it all the time at a boutique in Barcelona where I spent too much money when I was studying abroad. I googled and googled to find it but to no avail. Turns out I was typing in the wrong lyrics. I kept writing “I wish I was your vapor girl” rather than “I wish I was your FAVORITE girl”. I don’t know why I never figured it out. Anyway, I bought the Kate Nash CD back in Gainesville and started playing it in my car. Happily this was track 11. Fate.
