BEST FOR THE BEST—JOSH RITTER
Be patient and get about a minute into this video and you will be rewarded. This is Josh Ritter performing with the NY Pops for Central Park SummerStage. The video doesn’t do it justice. SummerStage is a series of free music and arts events in NYC. Awesome. I hadn’t heard of Josh Ritter until my friend took me to this concert but I loved him right away. He is such a great songwriter. Though having an amazing orchestra like the Pops back you doesn’t hurt either. This song was by far my favorite of the night. The indie folk rock mixed with the orchestral aspects made me want to cry (in a good way).
